Now It's Christmas
When a day begins with "Christmas" in it's name, i.e Christmas Eve, then it's Christmas time.
I was expecting a fair bit of mentalism to be on display during today as shoppers do their last minute thing and stock up on bread, milk, butter and all the other essentials that can't be purchased on the one day the shops are shut.
As it turns out, surprisingly quiet at the supermarket today. Spare parking spaces, room to move in the aisles and no queuing at the checkouts. An efficient operation, not used to that this time of year. Very impressed.
